Measuring the anomalous quartic gauge couplings in the W+W? ? W+W? process at muon collider using artificial neural networks

A bstract The muon collider provides a unique opportunity to study the vector boson scattering processes and dimension-8 operators contributing anomalous quartic gauge couplings (aQGCs). Because of cleaner final state, it is easier decode subprocess certain operator at collider. We attempt identify WWWW coupling in exclusive WW ? this paper. Since one aQGC can be induced by multiple operators, help confine different operators. Meanwhile, singling out process unitarity bounds. corresponding ? + ? $$ \nu \overline{\nu}\overline{\nu } ?? ? ¯ ? , with four (anti-)neutrinos which brings troubles phenomenological studies. In paper, machine learning method used tackle problem. find that, artificial neural network helpful extract W contribution, reconstruct center mass energy important Standard Model effective field theory. sensitivities expected constraints on \sqrt{s} s = 30 TeV are presented. demonstrate that networks exhibit great potential neutrinos state.
